Asset Servicing/Tax Product Manager (M/F)

As Asset Servicing/Tax Product Manager, you will be in charge of managing our Asset Servicing/Tax service offering and will have to manage the associated product strategy, roadmap and performance. This extends from enhancing existing products to developing brand-new services. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical expertise; a big-picture vision. You must spend time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions. You must interact actively with business stakeholders to gain expertise and build networks. You must be able to communicate and build strong working relations with various areas of the company. You will work with Relationship Management & Client Services to identify our clients’ needs and understand their expectations. You will consult with other product areas where relevant to ensure a global vision and a coherent suite of products and services at company level. You will work with Operations to help designing efficient processing flows; with IT to establish business requirements and discuss delivery options as well as associated costs; with Pricing to propose profitable and attractive revenue models; with Network Management to manage suppliers’ performance and control the external product cost base. You will liaise with Market Policy, Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit where necessary.


 Managing a product segment performance and its development lifecycle includes tasks such as:

Idea Generation & Screening

  • Conduct industry survey/research (e.g. regulatory- or competition-led developments) and analyse market conditions
  • Organize and lead internal work (SWOT analysis, forums, etc…)
  • Attend external industry events & client meetings – Develop a network of customer & industry contacts

Concept Development & Business Analysis

  • Determine new product requirements, positioning and viability
  • Identify and propose innovative and creative product solutions, with sound business case
  • Identify decision makers in the targeted client segment(s), build marketing strategy and Test market acceptance

Technical Implementation

  • Document business and operational requirements
  • Analyse potential partner/supplier relationships for the product and run negotiations (with network where needed)
  • Oversee both the product launch throughout implementation and the production of technical documentation


  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan (event campaigns, advertisement, press release, etc.
  • Determine product packaging solutions
  • Conduct product presentations and support the potential need for ad-hoc training


  • Measure product efficiency and validity (vs. agreed service levels and reliability standards) – Develop MIS and KPI
  • Maintain long-term product strategy and roadmap – Maintain product inventory
  • Supply internal stakeholders with latest research and marketing material

Qualifications/required skills

  • University degree in business, engineering, economics or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in securities services, strategic planning, product management,
  • network management, relationship management or business development
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Knowledge of business management principles and practices
  • Experience in project management is a plus
